National DNA Day commemorates the discovery of DNA's double helix by James Watson and Francis Crick in 1953 and the successful completion of the Human Genome Project in 2003. It is a day where students, teachers and the public can learn more about genetics and the latest advances in genomic research.
National DNA Day will be celebrated April 25, 2015. Visit the National Human Genome Research Institute for more details!
