Maternity Program and Prenatal Care
What is the Maternity Program? The program focuses on eliminating barriers to care and ensures services by linking pregnant females with organizations, programs and providers of maternity services. With accessible prenatal care, the ultimate goal of the program is healthy mothers and healthy babies.
Services for pregnant women include
- routine prenatal care
- case management
- education
- referrals
- other services provided through selected county health departments.
