School Health Guidelines

On behalf of the Oklahoma State Department of Health, the Child and Adolescent Health Division, Maternal and Child Health Service is pleased to provide you with the most recent version (2019) of the School Health Guidelines. These guidelines will support school nurses and school staff in providing care for and the management of health care needs of students.

The guidelines will be a valuable tool in the effort of improving health in the school setting; including creating a safe environment for positive learning, reducing the spread of disease, and increasing awareness of health care and safety issues in school.
