Child & Adolescent Health Clinical Services

young boy getting exam well child check upPhysicians and Advanced Practice Nurses (APRNs) provide well child care and treatment for minor acute illnesses for ages 0-21 years in county health departments. Contractual agreements in Tulsa and Oklahoma counties assist to assure accessible, comprehensive, and quality clinical services are available to children and adolescents living in those communities. In addition, in several rural communities throughout the state, professional service agreements exist with dental professionals for the provision of dental care. 

Who is eligible?
Clinical services are targeted to children and adolescents at or below 185% of Federal Poverty Level (FPL) who are uninsured or underinsured for health care services. Families with incomes above 100% of FPL may be assessed a fee for services. Fees assessed will be on a sliding scale that is based on family size and income. Families with incomes at or below 100% of the FPL will not be charged for services. Services will not be refused based on inability to pay.
