Consumer Health
Purpose
The mission of Caddo County Consumer Health Service is to protect the health of consumers and prevent disease through the licensing, inspecting, and monitoring of multiple professional, occupational and business programs.
Consumer Health provides the following services to Caddo County:
- Inspections of:
- Food Establishments to include:
- Restaurants and bars
- Places selling pre-packaged food (like grocery stores)
- Food service in schools, day cares, institutions and camps

- Technical Services:
- Instruct Food Handlers class and administers tests
- Extensive plan review of food establishments before construction
