Verification of Employment Eligibility
Federal immigration law requires all employers to verify both the identity and employment eligibility of all persons hired to work in the United States. This agency participates in the E-Verify Program established by the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration. Public Health Emergency Response 

All positions with the Oklahoma State Department of Health require possible response to public health emergencies including, but not limited to, natural or man-made disasters, disease outbreaks, or catastrophic events.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health promotes a drug free and tobacco free workplace. Employees are subject to reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing. Employees are prohibited from using tobacco products throughout all indoor and outdoor areas of premises under the control of the Oklahoma State Department of Health, in all vehicles on those premises, and in state vehicles in use for OSDH business anywhere.
