Governor Stitt Statement on Oklahoma Board of Equalization Certification
OKLAHOMA CITY (December 19, 2025) - The State Board of Equalization, chaired by Governor Kevin Stitt, met today to certify initial revenue estimates for fiscal year 2027, which begins July 1, 2026. The budget outlook estimates a $338 million increase compared to fiscal year 2026.The reported findings also revealed $3.7 billion in savings.
“Oklahoma continues to outperform expectations. State revenue is on a stable path, and we have a strong savings account,” said Governor Stitt. “Remember, cutting taxes doesn’t make the money disappear. Oklahomans keep their hard-earned dollars to spend at the grocery store or the bike shop. The evidence is right in front of us. When we cut taxes, our economy grows, and we’re all better off.”
The Board of Equalization will return in February to certify a final estimate ahead of the upcoming legislative session.
