Presidential Preferential Primary
Primary Election: Tuesday, March 5, 2024
December 4 – 6, 2023
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Statements of Candidacy and filing fees or petitions must be received between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. during the three-day filing period. Early, late, or incomplete submissions cannot be accepted.

Candidate information and Statements of Candidacy will become available in the Candidate Portal as information is processed. A complete list of candidates that have filed will be made available at the end of each day after 5 p.m.
The deadline to withdraw from the Presidential Preferential Primary is 5 p.m., Friday December 8.
To withdraw from the Presidential Preferential Primary Election, candidates must complete a Withdrawal Form and submit it to the Secretary of the State Election Board. Withdrawal forms must be signed by the candidate and notarized. Forms may be emailed to email@example.com to meet the deadline requirements; however, the original document should follow by mail or private delivery to the State Election Board at 2300 N. Lincoln Blvd, Room G-28, Oklahoma City, OK 73152. Filing fees are non-refundable.

The deadline to file as an Independent Presidential Candidate or a Presidential Candidate of an Unrecognized Party is Monday, July 15, 2024.
