The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has extended the REAL ID full enforcement date to May 7, 2025.

 

All driver license offices now operated by Service Oklahoma (formerly operated by the Department of Public Safety and tag agents) continue to be operational and processing business as usual. Visit service.ok.gov for more information.

Withdrawal of Parental Consent for an Individual Under 18 to Drive (Parental Objection)

To reinstate this type of action you must:

  1. Serve a minimum period of 90 days without driving privileges, and

  2. Furnish the Driver Compliance Division of the Department of Public Safety with a reinstatement authorization from a Parent/Guardian that requested the withdrawal of driving privileges or provide a Court Order of Emancipation or reach the age of eighteen (18).
