Automated mowers to service the Capitol grounds

OMES purchased automated mowers, similar to Roomba vacuum cleaners, to mow the Capitol grounds. They will roll out this spring and remove the need for contracted employees that cost the state $200,000 a year. The mowers will cut the grass while also minimizing the need for fertilization and weed control.
