The Office of Quality Assurance ensures that processes and operations within ODOC are being conducted in accordance with the applicable laws, requirements, standards, policies and procedures, and are as efficient as possible. This is accomplished through a review and audit process, and with the recommendation of corrective and preventative actions. This unit plays a crucial role in the agency by ensuring that activity and processes provided and outlined meet certain thresholds while also working to improve the agency’s efficiency by reducing inefficient and unnecessary processes.

The Chief Administrator of Quality Assurance is Responsible for Quality Assurance, Auditing and Compliance, and Technology Systems Management.
