Offender Records serves as a centralized source of offender information for staff, the public, and for numerous state and federal agencies by using active and closed records dating prior to statehood.
 
This unit:
  • Responds to inquiries from judges and attorneys concerning the service of sentences.
  • Prepares "PIN" (Prior Incarceration) packets nationwide for prosecuting attorneys seeking to enhance sentences with prior convictions.
  • Provides government agencies at all levels with offender information.
  • Answers general public and private company inquiries about criminal histories and inmate locations.
  • Serves as clearinghouse for dispersal of documents from the courts to field units.

In Compliance with the reporting requirements of 74 O.S. 3106.4[C], this agency is making known that it stores name, birth date, place of birth, mother's maiden name, biometric records, Social Security number, official state or government issued driver license or identification number, alien registration number, government passport number, and employer or taxpayer identification numbers. The personally identifiable data is stored both electronically and in confidential paper files. The data is shared in compliance with court orders and agreements with other government bodies.
