Walkaway in Custody

An inmate who walked away from the minimum unit at Lexington Correctional Center in Lexington, Okla., was apprehended and is now back in state custody.

Inmate Matthew Perry was taken into custody Friday evening around 7:00 p.m. in Sayre, Okla., by agents of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections Office of Inspector General, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Beckham County Sheriff’s Office, and the Sayre Police Department.

Perry was taken into custody without incident.
