Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, ODOC has partnered with Securus Technologies to provide inmates two free phone calls each week while visitation was suspended. With visitation reopening, these free phone calls will continue until April 15. After April 15, phone calls will still be permitted, subject to standard rates and policies.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Charles Poe has a warrant out for his arrest for violating the terms of his parole. 

Poe paroled in 2015 on a 50-year Oklahoma County sentence for drug trafficking near a park or school. He has been listed as a “parole absconder” since Monday for failing to check in with his Probation and Parole officer as required. 

Poe, 48, is described as black, 5-feet 10-inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. 

He has a tattoo on his right calf that reads “Charmetrus,” as well as a tattoo of “Kim” on his right arm. 

The public should not approach Poe or attempt to apprehend him. Anyone with information can call our escapee hotline at 866-363-1119 or email warrants@doc.ok.gov.
