OKLAHOMA CITY – Service Oklahoma is excited to announce it is expanding the hours of services offered as it approaches its peak season for driver license services. Citizens now have the convenience of visiting on Saturdays at 12 locations across the state to get their needed services. 

Seasonal Saturdays have been added to help citizens who have limited availability during the week to visit a Service Oklahoma Licensing and Exam and Drive Test Center location. Beginning in March, the strategically selected locations will now be open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“March begins peak season for us at Service Oklahoma,” said Jay Doyle, Chief Executive Officer of Service Oklahoma. “With the expansion of Seasonal Saturdays and extended hours, it’s a win for all Oklahomans. Citizens now have more options for in-person services and Service Oklahoma can accommodate the increase in demand that naturally comes this time of year.”

Service Oklahoma has also updated its business hours at all 33 Licensing and Exam and Drive Test Center locations to accommodate the visiting patterns of Oklahomans in each area. To determine operating hours for each location, Service Oklahoma analyzed customer patterns over the last year. Hours were adjusted at all locations to be consistent and more accessible to citizens in each community. 

Many licensed operators around the state are also open on Saturdays where citizens can get needed driver license and motor vehicle services. Citizens can find the Service Oklahoma or licensed operator location nearest them with the service they need and the hours that suite their schedule at service.ok.gov/locations.

Oklahomans are encouraged to use the online check-in system during Seasonal Saturdays so they can see suggested locations, view more accurate wait times and get in line. To join the waitlist, citizens simply go to service.ok.gov/locations and select the ‘Join Waitlist’ icon. From there, citizens select the service they need from the available services, and the system will suggest locations based on distance and current wait time.
