Colbert, Full-Time Police Officer

We are currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Police Officer. The applicant must be willing to work as part of a team. The applicant must also be able to work alone and in a small community.

• CLEET certification preferred, but not required
• Must be 21 years or older and a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate
• Have no felony or major misdemeanor convictions and no pending criminal charges.
• No convictions of crimes of moral turpitude or domestic violence
• Must have a high degree of ethical standards and moral character.
• Must have sound judgment and interpersonal skills.
• Must be community oriented.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
• Must be able to perform police duties without physical limitations or special accommodations.
• Must pass a background investigation, written exam, physical agility test, drug screening test, psychological assessment test, and interview board.

• Paid vacation and sick leave
• Medical, Dental, and Vision after 90 days
• All weapons, equipment, and uniforms provided.
• Take home vehicle
