Coalgate, Full-Time Police Officer

The Coalgate Police Department has a position open for a full-time Police Officer. This position includes patrol, traffic enforcement, investigations, responding to emergency situations and maintaining public order.

• Must be 21 years or older
• In physical shape (for foot pursuits and occasional physical altercations)
• Must be able to pass the MMPI and POSSE
• Must pass a drug test
• Must pass a background investigation
• Must pass interview
• *full-time certification preferred but not required*
• Must pass CLEET (if not certified)
• Must not be a convicted felon or have charges filed as a felony
• Must not have a protective order or Misdemeanor domestic/assault/battery charges
