Waukomis, Full-Time Patrolman

The Waukomis Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time patrolman. The Town of Waukomis is an equal opportunity employer and does not tolerate discrimination, or harassment of any kind.

• High School diploma, or GED
• Valid state issued driver’s license
• CLEET certified preferred, but not a MUST
• If you are not CLEET certified, you must be willing to attend a Basic Police Academy, which is quite lengthy and strenuous
• Must be 21 years old at the date of hire
• Must be a United States citizen
• No felony convictions, domestic violence convictions, or prior protective order
• No DUI convictions in the last 3 years
• If you have prior military service, a DD 214 must be provided, an Honorable discharge is a MUST
• MUST pass a MMPI exam, (psychological evaluation), and a drug test
• Pay will be based on experience and certification, starting at $46,000 a year
• Take home vehicle program, full family insurance, retirement, overtime, firearms provided
