The City of Hooker is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer Applicant must:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a background and drug/alcohol screening
- Be 21 years of age and a U.S. Citizen
- Possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license with good driving record.
- Preference Given to CLEET Certified Applicants
- NO FELONY CONVICTIONS
- NO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CONVICTIONS
- NO DUI CONVICTIONS
- Must be able to work in a Small-Town environment
- Must be able to work night shift, Holidays, Weekends
- Must be able to Pass MMPI Exam, Drug Test, and thorough Background Check.

Pay is 16.34 to 19.23 Per hour/ 34,000.00 to 40,000.00 dependent upon experience and certification. Years of experience and certification salary can be negotiated.
