Hooker, Police Officer

The City of Hooker is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer Applicant must:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Pass a background and drug/alcohol screening
• Be 21 years of age and a U.S. Citizen
• Possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license with good driving record.
• Preference Given to CLEET Certified Applicants
• NO FELONY CONVICTIONS
• NO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CONVICTIONS
• NO DUI CONVICTIONS
• Must be able to work in a Small-Town environment
• Must be able to work night shift, Holidays, Weekends
• Must be able to Pass MMPI Exam, Drug Test, and thorough Background Check.

Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement System Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Holiday pay Comp Time Furnished weapons/uniforms Vacation and sick leave Take home Patrol Unit.

Pay is 16.34 to 19.23 Per hour/ 34,000.00 to 40,000.00 dependent upon experience and certification. Years of experience and certification salary can be negotiated.
