The Henryetta Police Department is seeking out an individual that is highly motivated and committed to Police work to join our team. The City of Henryetta is located at the intersection of two major highways and offers a diverse and challenging array of service calls. The current population of Henryetta is approximately 6,000 people however, the city services considerably more.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21-45 years of age
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Exceptional driving record
  • No felony convictions and no misdemeanor convictions for crimes of moral turpitude or domestic violence
  • 2 years verifiable work history
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts
  • Capability to pass written exam, pass extensive background investigation and oral board
  • Ability to meet the requirements of the state pension plan

Preferred Qualifications

  • C.L.E.E.T. certification
  • Associate Degree
  • Ability to prepare precise reports
  • Experience in courtroom testimony
  • Experience with the ODIS reporting system

  • The starting salary range for a Patrolman is $44,772-$55,866 annually based off 2184 hours)
    • Salary is based off the amount of CLEET hours obtained, instructor development certificate, college hours, CLEET intermediate and advanced certification levels
  • The Department receives 11 paid holidays per year
  • Officers receive a check twice a year to purchase uniforms and equipment
  • Henryetta Police Department is a member of the Oklahoma Police Pension
