Minimum Requirements
Must be 21 years of age...High school diploma...clean driving record. Also must be able to pass a background check and pass a drug test. Applicant must be able to make split moment decisions, work well with others and be able to remain professional under extreme conditions. Must have basic computer skills and must be able to pass the MMPI and posse test. Must be physically able to meet the demands of police work.
Key Responsibilities
Applicants will be required to be able to work indepently and make strong decisions at a moments notice. Officers will be working traffic and all phases of peace officer requirements to include drug interdictions as well as domestics and community policing. Must be a self motivator and be able to work shift work. Officers must be willing to work with other officers in a small town setting and be able to be a team player.
Salary/Compensation
