The Prague Police Department is accepting applications to fill a vacant full time police officer position.

• Be at least 21-45 years of age and U.S. Citizen
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License
• Pass Background Check, Drug Screen, MMPI Exam and OPPRS Physical.
• No Felony Convictions
• No Domestic Violence convictions
• No convictions for crimes of moral turpitude
• Full-time CLEET Certification preferred
• Must be available any shift (nights, weekends, and holidays) as needed
• High ethical & moral character a must
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
   

• Starting pay $18.00/Hour for certified and increases after probationary period
• Health and dental paid 100% by the city for the officer
• Eight hours of sick leave and vacation time accrues monthly from the time of hire
• Take home vehicle provided (if qualified)
• Retirement is provided by the City (OPPRS)
