Minimum Qualifications
- Age 21–45
- High School diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- No felony convictions or misdemeanors involving moral turpitude or domestic violence
- Two years of verifiable work history
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Pass a written exam, thorough background investigation, and oral board
- Meet Oklahoma Police Pension eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
C.L.E.E.T. Certification
Associate Degree
Proficient report writing
Courtroom testimony experience
Familiarity with the ODIS reporting system
What We offer
Starting salary: $44,772 to $55,866 based on experience and certifications (2184 hours/year)
Paid health insurance for Officers
Take-home vehicle (if within 15 miles of Henryetta)
Uniform/equipment checks issued twice a year
11 paid holidays annually
Oklahoma Police Pension System participation
Covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement
