Every agency has an online presence on the state's web portal under the agency directory. However, in order to bring a larger online presence for improved government interactions, agencies must build websites and applications that allow their target audience to conduct government business online. Unfortunately, most agencies are not equipped to manage such a task, but OK.gov can help!
When working with OK.gov there is no need to release a Request for Proposal for web application development and/or website construction. The Oklahoma Office of State Finance (OSF) has joined together with OK.gov to provide these services to you! Your agency will sign an agreement with OSF, and then OK.gov will work directly with your agency on all aspects of application development and/or website creation.
In many cases the easiest way to establish an online presence is to create a website for your agency. OK.gov offers a Content Management System that allows anyone with Internet access to build a website. It is easy to use, requires no programming ability, and the text editor used to create website content bares resemblance to Microsoft Word.
