Oklahoma Driver's Testing Sites Have Reduced Waiting Time

— Being licensed to drive is a milestone in life. Before that day can ever come, though, steps must be taken. Sometimes long steps.

But thanks to new, online scheduling and the addition of 25 employees, the Department of Public Safety’s driver testing sites throughout the state are seeing shorter wait times and fewer complaints, an official said.

Lt. Betsy Randolph, a spokeswoman for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a division of the Public Safety Department, said that without the passing of legislation in mid-2013, none of this could be possible.
